NIME - Touch Switch Test

Testing a 555 circuit, courtesy of F.M. Mims. The circuit worked well except for the fact that I needed to keep my hand grounded for best response. I’ll have to work to fix this.
Using Music
by admin on Sep.14, 2009, under NIME
In my observations in how people “use” music, I have noticed the following:
-People use music to isolate themselves (while commuting and while coding)
-People use music to relax and unwind (listening and playing)
-People use music to pump themselves up (sports and exercise)
-People create music for work (composers and performers)
-People use music to socialize (enjoying music with others with same tastes)
-People use music to socialize (background music in a bar to make a comfortable atmosphere)
-People use music to socialize, drink and have fun (Beatles Rock Band)
-People create music to stimulate creativity (jamming with friends)
-People use music to make you remember their brand (theme music and sonic branding)
-People use music to find common ground (talking about music)
-People use music to comfort themselves
Here is a track that was composed this week by my brother for a commercial. This is an example of people using music for work.
